Colin Swift is a singer songwriter and composer.
Until 10 years ago he didn’t have anything to write about and then everything changed. Writing songs and pushing himself to play live was the best tonic to the ups and downs of life.
Born in Liverpool, then growing up in and around London before happily settling down in Hertford in 2012, Colin Swift music draws on a rich mix of music influences and life experiences.
Making a commitment to himself to perform original songs, coincided with some significant life events, not all of them good, that continued to spur more songs and to elaborate on further on existing songs. Local gigs and festivals, including opening the Groove Garden stage at Standon Calling for the past two years, have provided even more inspiration and confidence.
